What you choose to save

The no-account preview stores example edits in your browser. When you sign in, Acre stores your account details and saved workspace information: plans, properties, searches, documents, rent and expense records, and maintenance tasks. Invited teammates can access workspace information according to their role. Only invite people you want to share it with.

Services that help Acre work

Netlify provides hosting, authentication, database storage, private document storage and support-form handling. When enabled as the property-research provider, Perplexity processes property addresses, listing links and public property facts, and searches or fetches public pages. Acre does not send your account email, uploaded documents or private financial assumptions to Perplexity for this research. Google sign-in is available through authentication. RentCast receives the property and market queries needed for connected research. When signed-in users type in Analyze an Address, the typed address text is sent through Acre to Photon’s public OpenStreetMap-based service to suggest matching US addresses. Account details and workspace records are not sent with suggestion requests. You can enter an address manually without choosing a suggestion. Supported listing links are parsed to identify the address; listing-link text is not sent to the address-suggestion service. Analyze an Address normally uses OpenAI’s web-search tools through Netlify’s AI Gateway. The listing URL or address and researched property facts are sent to the configured research provider, OpenAI or Perplexity. These tools search public pages for property details, sale prices and advertised rents. Public subject and comparable addresses are sent to the US Census geocoding service to obtain approximate street locations and calculate distances. Account details and private workspace records are not sent with those geocoding requests. Your report and source links are stored in your private workspace so you can reopen it. Property reports may also send the public address and property details to RentCast to find comparable rental listings. Acre labels this provider’s listing records separately from web-page research and uses advertised asking rents, not verified signed leases. Saved property searches and market research elsewhere in Acre also use RentCast. A source link is evidence to review, not a guarantee that extracted facts are correct. When you request AI help or document analysis, the relevant question, workspace context or document content is processed through Netlify’s AI Gateway and its configured AI provider, OpenAI.

Stripe handles subscription checkout, payment methods, invoices and subscription changes. Acre stores subscription identifiers and status to apply the correct plan; it does not store your full card details.

Assistant web search

When you ask the Personal assistant to find local services or choose Search web, Acre sends your current request to OpenAI with web-search tools. If you select a saved property, it may also send that property’s city, state or ZIP code to identify the search area. Acre does not automatically include email contents, documents, earlier conversation or saved financial assumptions in these searches. Any details you type into the search request itself are included. Responses link to public sources so you can check what a company offers. Search results do not contact a company, book a service or send an email.

Optional email connections

Connecting email is separate from signing in to Acre. If you connect Gmail, Acre receives your Google account identifier and verified email address to identify the sending account, plus access and refresh tokens to keep the connection working. Tokens are encrypted on Acre’s server. The connection belongs to your Acre account; teammates cannot use it. Sending requires you to review the recipient, subject and full message and choose Send reviewed email.

Gmail inbox reading is a separate, optional permission. If you enable it, Acre can access your Gmail messages. Acre fetches message lists and the messages you open when you use the inbox tools. If you turn on Notify me while Acre is open, it also checks for new message identifiers while the app is visible and shows an in-app notice. This setting and its comparison state stay in the current session. Acre does not run mailbox sync or notifications after you close or hide the app. It does not change labels, mark messages as read, delete messages, download attachments, or send replies automatically. The permission covers the mailbox, so Acre cannot guarantee that a search contains only tenant or property email. Choose the messages you want to work with.

Email and AI

Writing an email yourself does not send its text to an AI provider. If you ask Acre AI to draft a message, your request and any selected property context are processed by OpenAI through Acre’s configured AI connection. If you choose Summarize or Draft reply for an incoming message, that selected message’s sender, subject and text, together with your instructions, are sent to OpenAI for that request. Review the result before using it. Incoming messages are treated as content to read, not instructions authorizing actions. OpenAI processes these requests under its API data controls, which include possible retention for abuse monitoring; Acre does not promise zero retention by service providers.

Acre does not use Google user data to train or improve general-purpose AI models, serve ads, build advertising audiences, or determine creditworthiness. Acre’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the Google Workspace user data and developer policy.

Email storage and deletion

Netlify hosts the email service and stores the encrypted connection credentials, account identifier and email address. Inbox messages are fetched on demand and are not saved as a mailbox archive in Acre’s database. The displayed messages and AI results remain in the current app session. If you save an email draft, its recipient, subject and body, including any quoted or summarized incoming message, are stored privately in your Acre account with the submission status. Saving a draft does not send it. Only the reviewed outgoing message is submitted to the email provider when you choose Send. Provider acceptance does not confirm delivery.

Acre retains the connection until you disconnect it, and retains saved drafts and submission records until they are deleted following a request. Disconnect removes Acre’s stored mailbox credentials and stops future email access; it does not remove the Google permission grant, delete retained drafts, or recall sent messages. You can revoke the grant in Google Account connections. To delete retained drafts and submission records, contact Ralestate123@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Acre account. We verify the request before removing records. Canceling your plan is separate from deleting data.

Outlook sending is not currently activated. When available, Outlook will use a separate connection for reviewed sends; Gmail inbox permission does not authorize Outlook inbox access. See email connection, consent and deletion help for the steps and current availability.

Support and your choices

Support messages include the contact details and information you submit so we can respond. For questions about access, correction, deletion or how your information is handled, email Ralestate123@gmail.com. Don’t include card numbers or passwords. Canceling a subscription stops renewal; it does not itself delete your saved records.

Browser storage

Acre uses browser storage for the working preview, sign-in state and checkout return state. Clearing preview storage removes local edits. Signing out ends your active app session on that browser.
